For your first burn, we recommend keeping the candle lit at least 3 hours to allow your wax to form a full melting pool, preventing tunneling. To keep a clean burn, trim your wick approx. 1/4 inch before each use to prevent the flame from sooting. When trimming, do not allow ashes to fall in your melt pool.
